Provided is a saliva secretion-promoting mouth piece that: can be used in public such as during conversation with other people when halitosis is a particular concern; and can be used at any time, with no limit to the timing of use. A saliva secretion-promoting mouth piece characterized by comprising: a horseshoe-shaped mouth piece 12 formed using a thermoplastic resin that softens at temperatures exceeding body temperature and having a fitting section 12A that can detachably fit on to at least a person's left and right molar teeth in the maxillary teeth 24 or the mandibular teeth 26; and protruding sections 14A, 14B integrally formed in the mouth piece 12, that promote secretion of saliva by coming in contact with and stimulating at least either a section of the gums 28 in the vicinity of the molar teeth or an oral cavity inner surface section in the vicinity of the salivary glands. |
