TERMINATOR AND THE CABLE TERMINATING SYSTEM THEREOF

A terminator and a local loop terminating system using the same are provided to prevent level loss through cable impedance matching by installing the terminator in an end stage of a local loop, prevent interference by suppressing leaky waves, and minimize upwardly-applied noise, thereby providing a stable service. A transmitting stage transmits signals to a subscriber stage. A mid stage comprises at least one device for performing signal relay or distribution so as to transceiver signals between the transmitting stage and the subscriber stage, and a connector(50) and plural cables for connecting each device. The subscriber stage receives the signals from the transmitting stage. A terminator(60,160) electrically disconnects an end cable of the plural cables included in the mid stage, and is configured to insert a locking key. In the terminator, connection with the mid stage is unreleased in a state when the locking key is not inserted.
