METHOD FOR MEASURING WORK TEMPERATURE QUICKLY WITH COORDINATE MEASURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To detect rapidly a workpiece temperature with high reliability by the use of a probe type temperature measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION: A temperature measuring head 3 operated according to the principle of a switch type probe head is used to detect a time point of the workpiece contact by the touch to the workpiece. From the temperature passage measured and recorded by a temperature measuring head 3 beyond the time point of the workpiece contact, the workpiece temperature is specified in the measuring interval by the use of a numerical estimation method utiliyzing only a specified measuring interval.
