PURPOSE: To reduce initial cost and running cost largely by a simple facility at low cost in melting the snow coverage and freezing of a subgrade, and to solve the difficulty of maintenance, noises and the limitation of an applied area. CONSTITUTION: A snow melting/freezing-preventive facility is composed of solar cells 1A, 1B installed at places, where insolation is obtained, and a heater panel 3, into which a DC heater buried into a subgrade 10 is incorporated. DC power acquired by the solar cells 1A, 1B is transmitted directly to the heater panel 3 through weather-resistant cables 2, and snow coverage and freezing are melted by the heat generation of the heater panel 3. |
