PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combustor operating conditions having a wide range, and a corresponding fuel supply system.SOLUTION: A fuel supply system may include a fuel injector 100B having a primary and a secondary pilot fuel nozzle 104, 106 in fluid communication with a primary and a secondary fuel circuit 204, 206, respectively, and a main fuel nozzle 108 in fluid communication with a main fuel circuit 208. The fuel injector 100B may also include a by-pass fuel circuit 230 connected between the primary circuit 204 and the secondary circuit 206 and/or the main circuit 208, and a by-pass valve 232 provided operably in association with the by-pass fuel circuit 230. The by-pass valve 232 is configured to be opened such that a portion of the fuel flowing through the primary fuel circuit 204 from the primary fuel manifold is directed to the secondary fuel circuit 206 and/or the main fuel circuit 208.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
