<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash-off apparatus for coating, the operating cost of which is reduced, which is made compact and with which manufacturing efficiency of a coated material is improved. <P>SOLUTION: In the flash-off apparatus 3 for coating, in which the coated material W after being subjected to coating is exposed to low-humidity adjustment air SA to adjust the solid content of a coating film, switching of a mode is performed between a dehumidifying operation mode and a heating operation mode. In the dehumidifying operation mode, the vaporizer of a refrigeration circuit 17 is used as an air cooler and original air is cooled and dehumidified to produce the adjustment air SA.
