PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide holding member suppressing misalignment of optical centers between a printed board side and the optical waveguide holding member side due to temperature changes, and to provide an optical transceiver. SOLUTION: The optical transceiver 10 includes a printed board 11 and an optical waveguide holding member 12. A photoelectric conversion element 14 is formed in the printed board 11. An optical waveguide including a core member 15 is formed in the optical waveguide holding member 12. The optical waveguide optically connects the photoelectric conversion element 14 and an external optical fiber. An element side lens 16 facing a light receiving and emitting part 14A of the photoelectric conversion element 14 is formed at one end 15A of the core member 15. The optical waveguide holding member 12 has a flange 12A to be used for adhesion to the printed board 11.
