PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle which is easy in maintenance and can reduce cost for ground segments.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle 1 includes motors 2, a bus line 3, a power device 4, auxiliary devices 5, a storage battery 6, a power supply unit 7, and a control part 8. A direct-current voltage in a predetermined voltage range is applied to the bus line 3. The power device 4 supplies electric power from the bus line 3 to the motors 2 to control the rotation of the motors 2, and returns regenerative electric power generated by the motors 2 to the bus line 3. The storage battery 6 is electrically charged from and discharged to the bus line 3. At least one of a DC-DC power supply unit, an AC-DC power supply unit, and a power generation unit is provided as the power supply unit 7. The control part 8 controls the electrical charge and discharge of the storage battery 6, power supply of the power supply unit 7, and power supply to the auxiliary devices 5. As a result, voltages used in the power device 4 and the auxiliary devices 5 are made equal by the bus line 3, and desired control of flow of power in the railway vehicle 1 can be performed by the control part 8. |
