<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the humidity hysteresis of an element and to improve the stability with time and the reliability by constructing a humidity-sensitive body of a substance impregnated with pyridine or pyridinium salt. CONSTITUTION:A zinc oxide, a chromium oxide, a vanadium oxide and a lithium oxide, which are metal oxides, are weighed by 45mol%, 45mol%, 5mol% and 5mol% respectively, put in a ball mill, subjected to wet-type mixing and then dried by heating. Next, powder thus obtained is mixed with a liquid binder and thereby a ceramic paste having a prescribed viscosity is obtained. Subsequently, the ceramic paste is printed on an alumina base 2 having a comb-shaped electrode 1. After drying, baking is conducted at a temperature of 1,100 deg.C and thereby a humidity-sensitive body 3 is obtained. A humidity-sensitive element is prepared by soldering lead terminals 4 to the comb-shaped electrode 1 connected to the humidity-sensitive body 3. Next, the humidity-sensitive element is put in a pyridine solution, reduced-pressure impregnation is executed for 30 minutes, a heating treatment at a temperature of 120 deg.C is executed thereafter, and thereby the humidity-sensitive element is completed.</p> |
