PURPOSE: A method for automatically editing homepages based on networks is provided so that object information for each font box or image box and a web page source are corrected and transmitted to a web server when a web page is revised using a homepage editor screen transmitted to a user's web browser. CONSTITUTION: If the edit of a web page is requested by a user(S1601), object information corresponding to the user and the web page is extracted from a homepage generation associated database(S1603). Extracted object information is analyzed and a homepage editor screen is generated(S1605). If the homepage editor screen is transmitted to the user(S1607), the user revises the web page using the homepage editor screen(S1609). If the user inserts an image box or a font box into the web page or adds a menu icon, object information for each is generated or revised(S1611) and a web page source is revised(S1613). After receiving the modified object information and web page source(S1615), the web server updates object information transmitted to the homepage generation associated database(S1603) and the web files of the web sever.
