<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition having a high curing rate and to provide a method for ink-jet recording. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises at least a polymerizable compound, a colorant, a photopolymerization initiator and chain transfer agent. The method for ink-jet recording comprises using the ink composition.
