SLIDING MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a sliding material excellent in impact resistance and capable of showing stable sliding properties for a long time without oiling. CONSTITUTION:A phenol resin or a mixture thereof with a nitride such as BN and an inorganic substance such as carbon or metal is molded. The sliding surface of the plastic molding is carbonized and optionally graphitized. The obtained material can be extensively used as a sliding material which can show stable sliding properties for a long time without oiling and has inside impact resistance as well as surface sliding properties, wear resistance and chemical resistance.
