PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing fittings for a column having a high shearing force without braking wooden fibers of a column and also providing a high resistance against earthquake and a high reliability in reinforcement by supporting a load with a plane body. SOLUTION: A nut 2 or bolt 6 is fixed to a base end side, slots 3 are drilled in proper places, and the fittings also has a plate main body 1 inserted in axial direction of a column 8, a wedge plate 4 fitted to a slot 3 of a plate main body 1 inserted in the shaft direction of the column 8 from a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the column 8, and a bolt 2 or nut 6 fixing the plate main body 1 to a member to be attached by screwing to the nut or bolt 6 of the plate main body 1.
