<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system improving reliability of fuel cells and enabling downsizing of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system, for supplying fuel to the fuel cell for power generation by two fuel supply methods of an prograde operation and an retrograde operation without using a liquid pump, is provided with: a first fuel tank C1; a second fuel tank C2; an air supply pump AP pressurizing methanol aqueous solution fuel stored in the first fuel tank and supplying the fuel; and an elastic energy storage body 27 pressurizing fuel supplied inside the second fuel tank C2 and supplying the fuel to the fuel cell, so that the system gives the fuel cell an elongated life. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
