<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad crossing obstacle detector for specifying a position of an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: In this detector, three sets of detection sensor parts 1a, 1b and 1c, which are disposed at a crossing road 4 outside railroads 6a, 6b in which the road and the railroads 6a, 6b intersect on the same plane, transmit electric waves into an obstacle detection area 9 which is set on the crossing road 4. On the other hand, the sensor parts 1a, 1b and 1c receive reflected electric waves from the obstacle to calculate distances from each sensor part 1a, 1b and 1c to the obstacle on the basis of the signal processing information on the reflected electric waves, then, a control logic part 3 specifies the position of the obstacle, based on the data of the calculated distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
