<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop or suppress energizing a heating coil by detecting generation of abnormal overheating without a delay as much as possible to suppress useless power consumption as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This electromagnetic cooker is equipped with: one or a plurality of thermistors 4 to detect the temperature at a prescribed position on the under surface of a plate; a preheating heater 5 to preheat the temperature detecting position of the thermistors 4; a preheating control circuit 15 to start preheating by the preheating heater 5 after inputting operation to start heating by a heating coil 1 and to start heating by the heating heater 1 after that; and a coil energizing control circuit 13 to start preheating by the heating coil 1 after starting preheating, and to suppress or stop energizing the heating coil 1 if the detected temperature by the thermistor 4 exceeds a prescribed set temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
