A sorting apparatus and a method for recycling inflammable wastes are provided to shorten a period of maintenance by individually exchanging blades of a shredder and to reduce the cost of exchanging the blades. A sorting apparatus for recycling inflammable wastes is composed of: a first shredder(1) receiving and crushing large wastes and discharging the crushed wastes to an input conveyor(3); a vibrating hopper(2) installed in parallel to the first shredder for supply the wastes smaller than the wastes supplied to the first shredder; the input conveyor receiving and transferring the wastes from the first shredder or the vibrating hopper; a trommel screen(4) sorting out the wastes, according to the size; a disc screen(6) receiving soil or organic wastes dropping from the trommel screen; a high-speed conveyor(7) discharging the small wastes dropping from the disc screen; a cyclone(8) sucking fine inflammable materials from the high-speed conveyor through the lateral sides by suction force of a blower; a transfer conveyor(10) transferring the wastes passing through the disc screen; an air passage(12) discharging inflammable materials scattered by the wind blown from a blowing nozzle(84); a discharge conveyor(14) delivering the wastes passing through the trommel screen; a blower(15) installed at the lower part of the end of the discharge conveyor; an air conveyor(16) discharging and transferring the inflammable materials scattered by the wind of the blower; an air storing box(11) communicating with the air passage and the air conveyor through one side to supply the discharged inflammable materials to a second sorting conveyor(18); a suction line(151) communicating with one side of the air storing box; a cyclone(13) and a filter(19) communicating with each other; the second sorting conveyor sorting the inflammable materials discharged from the air storing box while transferring the inflammable materials; a first sorting conveyor(17) transferring and sorting the inflammable materials dropping from the transfer conveyor; and a second shredder(20) crushing the inflammable materials.
