PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch reproducing modes of an audio data reproducing appliance without forcing a user to conduct troublesome operation. SOLUTION: The audio data reproducing appliance comprises an imaging means for imaging a preset imaging area, a memory for sequentially storing image data obtained by imaging a preset area by the imaging means, a means for reproducing the audio data, and a control means for switching a reproducing state depending on results of comparing the image data consecutively stored on the memory.
