A terminal device derives the number of repetitive transmissions and/or repetitive receptions required on the basis of the reception electric power of a downlink reference signal, compares said number with a number of repetitive transmissions and/or repetitive receptions that is set in the terminal device, implements a random access procedure if the numbers are different, and, on the basis of the former number of repetitions, determines a setting for the number of some or all of the repetitive transmissions and/or repetitive receptions during the random access procedure. |
