A product replacement system according to the present invention is a product replacement assistance system provided with: a terminal that receives information indicating a first product; and a server that provides information about a second product to the terminal according to an input from the terminal, wherein the second product differs from but corresponds to the first product. The terminal is provided with: an input unit that receives various types of inputs including a first model number indicating the first product; and a display unit that displays various types of information including the information about the second product provided by the server. The server is provided with: a database that associates information about the first product including the first model number with information about the second product; an extraction unit that extracts information about the second product from the database using the first model number, which is received via the terminal; a drawing generation unit that generates a drawing image of the second product; a first storage unit that stores information which is used to generate the drawing image and which indicates the dimensions of the second product; and a display control unit that, based on the information extracted by the extraction unit, controls the manner in which information is displayed on the display unit, wherein the display control unit causes the display unit to display the drawing image. |
