METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING FLYING SPEED OF DISCHARGED INK FROM INK JET RECORD HEAD

PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure flying speed of discharged ink from an ink jet record head by means of simple structure and simple setting. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 63, which makes a brightness signal of an image signal obtained by photographing discharging ink binary, is provided. A distance from a discharge opening is detected by a measuring member 67 based on its output so as to calculate flying speed.
