<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail printer and system and a confirmation notification method and program by which a sender can surely realize that contents of printed documents are confirmed by a receiver with a simple operation by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving print data to which a print request has been made, a print data control part 5 transmits a print request to a printer 120 after performing print control, and instructs generation of a reception history to a reception history control part 6 to store the generated reception history in a reception history storage part 7. When receiving a print output completion message from the printer 120, the control part 5 sends an instruction for generating a confirmation message and information of a reception history for the print data to a confirmation message generation part 8.
