<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which the fuel and water can be mixed uniformly and a stable power generation is possible. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is equipped with a power generation part in which the power generation is carried out by a chemical reaction, a fuel tank in which the fuel is housed, a mixing tank 54 in which a fuel aqueous solution is formed in order to be supplied to the power generation part by mixing the water and the fuel supplied through a fuel supply passage 18 from the fuel tank, an anode flow passage in which the fuel is circulated between the power generation part and the fuel tank, an air supply part by which the air is supplied to the power generation part, and a cathode flow passage through which the water obtained by condensing the steam sent out from the power generation part is introduced to a mixing container. The mixing tank has a water flow inlet 84 that is connected to the cathode flow passage and extended inclined with respect to the vertical direction in order to cause convection inside the mixing tank, and a fuel flow inlet 85 that is connected to the fuel supply flow passage and positioned upward the water flow inlet against the vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
