The present invention relates to a refrigerator (1) having a refrigeration compartment (11) accessible by a door (2) and in which food items to be preserved are stored, said refrigerator (1) further comprising a compressor (3) circulating a refrigerant fluid, a condenser (4) providing the refrigerant fluid to be condensed, an evaporator fan (6) effecting circulation of the cooled air and a cold-wall evaporator (5) disposed against inner surface of a wall of the refrigeration compartment (11) facing the door (2) such that an air supply interspace (7) is provided between the cold-wall evaporator (5) and an air supply covering (12) to be delimited by the latter.

1- A refrigerator (1) comprising a refrigeration compartment (11) accessible by a door (2) and in which food items to be preserved are stored, a compressor (3) circulating a refrigerant fluid, an evaporator fan (6) effecting circulation of the cooled air and a cold-wall evaporator (5) disposed against inner surface of a wall of the refrigeration compartment (11), said inner surface being in parallel with said door (2), an air supply interspace (7) being provided in which said cold-wall evaporator extends (5) in the manner to be delimited by an air supply covering (12) characterized in that—the air supply interspace (7) is longitudinally divided into a plurality of parallel parts by means of air separators (16) such that a central interspace (17) communicates with two lateral interspaces (18) at a bottom end of said air supply interspace (7) and—the evaporator fan (6) is disposed on an inner surface portion of the ceiling of the refrigeration compartment (11) in communication with said central interspace (17).
