The present invention is provided with: an incubator 2 that houses cell culture vessels; an isolator 3 that is for processing a cell culture vessel 1 sent from the incubator 2; and a pass box 4 that can convey, into the isolator 3, an article and a reagent that are needed for the subdivision and injection of cells that have been cultured in the cell culture vessel 1. The isolator 3 is provided with: an observation unit 8 that is provided with first robot arms 6, 7 that are for moving the cell culture vessel 1 extracted from the incubator 2 into an observation position for the purpose of verifying the degree of proliferation of the cells inside the cell culture vessel; a processing unit 13 that is provided with second robot arms 10, 11, 12 that perform different types of processing for transferring, into a product vessel 9, the cells inside the cell culture vessel 1, which contains a prescribed number of cells; and an extraction port 14 that is for extracting a plurality of product vessels 9 that have undergone the transfer.
