Pan-7 simian adenovirus nucleic acid and amino acid sequences, vectors containing same, and methods of use

A vector which comprises an adenovirus capsid wherein the capsid comprises a simian adenoviral Pan-7 hexon protein having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:11, or a sequence having at least 95-99% identity with SEQ ID NO:11 or a functional fragment thereof. The vector further comprises a heterologous gene operatively linked to sequences which direct expression of the gene in a host cell.
