PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a control method and a program which suppress the erroneous discrimination of impersonation by performing impersonation discrimination corresponding to user's operations to the information processing device.SOLUTION: Face detection is performed from an image that is acquired by photographing the front of a PC 111 for a teleworker, and the face image is compared with a face image representing the teleworker himself/herself. The face image representing the teleworker himself/herself is switched in accordance with the existence/absence of an input operation to the PC 111 for a teleworker to be used, and also, a threshold to similarity to be used during comparison is switched in accordance with the existence/absence of an input operation to the PC 111 for a teleworker to be used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
