<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-cost, efficient adaptation to a replacing display. <P>SOLUTION: Display control information 181 includes information on "screen design" defining a screen for displayed video, information on "a standard aspect ratio" corresponding to the aspect ratio of the "screen design", and information on "a correction rule" determining a correcting method for the case wherein a display part 102 can not display video of "the standard aspect ratio". Display part characteristic information 182 includes information on "the size" of the display part 102, information on the "aspect ratio" of the display part 102, and information on "the total number of pixels" of the display part 102, "the overscanning rate" of the display part 102, etc. Proper corrections are made through processing 182 by a microcomputer based upon the display control information 181 and display part characteristic information 182, and video signal processing 184 is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
