PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify merchandise information about merchandise subjected to sales processing in a type desired by a customer. SOLUTION: In a merchandise sales processing, a customer can operate an operation part B facing the customer to specify the type of merchandise information desired by the customer (for example, an item name showing the name of each piece of merchandise or a group name conceptualizing each piece of merchandise in a higher class), and the merchandise information about the merchandise subjected to sales processing is generated and notified according to the type of the merchandise information desired by the customer. The merchandise information notified in sales processing of merchandise can be of types desired by customers. For example, a customer who does not desire to have item names (type of merchandise information) showing names of merchandise bought notified as merchandise information can specify the group name (type of merchandise information) conceptualizing each piece of merchandise in a higher class as the type of merchandise information desired by the customer, so that merchandise information about the merchandise subjected to sales processing is notified according to the type desired by the customer.
