PURPOSE:To provide a binder fiber easily producible in the form of fiber and giving a polyester fiber cushioning material having soft feeling and resistant to compression set. CONSTITUTION:The binder fiber is a three-layer core-sheath conjugate fiber consisting of the innermost layer composed of a high-melting polyester having a melting point of >=220 deg.C, the intermediate layer composed of an elastomeric polyester copolymer having a melting point of 130-200 deg.C and the surface layer composed of a low-softening point polyester having a softening point of >=100 deg.C and lower than the melting point of the elastomeric copolymer. |
