<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit capable of converting data of high accuracy without increasing a circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: The data converting circuit for indicating the input data representing the gradation data of each pixel of input digital video data to output data indicating the gradation data of corrected digital video data includes an arithmetic circuit 2 for calculating an approximate value for the input data by using the n order formula (n is an integer ≥1), an error reducing circuit 12 for generating an error correction value for the input data, and an adder section 10 for adding the approximate value from the approximation arithmetic circuit 2 and the error correction value from the error reduction circuit 12 and outputting the result thereof as the output data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
