The present invention discloses a waterborne alkyd antirust paint, comprising: 30-55 wt% of a waterborne alkyd resin; 8-20 wt% of an antirust agent; 10-20 wt% of a filler; and 15-30 wt% of water. Also, the present invention discloses a preparation method of a waterborne alkyd antirust paint. The present waterborne alkyd antirust paint utilizes water as a diluent, and can thereby reduce the production cost by about 60% compared with a method utilizing a solvent oil as a solvent. The present waterborne alkyd antirust paint has improved safety factors and emits significantly lower amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOC) during production, transportation and usage, and has the flash point of a non-hazardous chemical and a technical index that matches or exceeds the index of related domestic products. Further, the present waterborne alkyd antirust paint has the benefits of being safe, environmentally friendly and widely applicable and can serve as a special finish paint that is suitable for use as a primer for oily products of various types. |
