<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method and device, capable of composing an image of a link destination into document data and printing it when printing the document data described with address information for performing a link to an image file, saving a user the trouble of separately performing access, and obtaining output data improving user's convenience. <P>SOLUTION: This information processing device prints the document data recorded with the address information of the image on a server accessable via the Internet. Print direction of the image and its setting are performed by an operation part 107, the address information is detected from the document data, and the image is accessed via the Internet. It is decided whether the accessed image can be embedded in the document data or not. The image is downloaded when it can be embedded.
