PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image detector capable of preventing an electrostatic defect when manufacturing a substrate, and capable of restraining a signal value from being fluctuated by a leak current when driven. SOLUTION: This image detector is provided with an active matrix substrate 10 having a plurality of charge accumulation capacities 5 of accumulating a charge under an image indicating condition by irradiation of an electromagnetic wave indicating a detection-objective image, a plurality of data wires 3 connected individually to the plurality of respective charge accumulation capacities 5, common wires 110A, 110B for protecting a circuit in order to protect the circuit from an excessive voltage, a plurality of diodes 32A with an anode connected to the common wire 110A, and with a cathode connected to the plurality of data wires 3, and a plurality of diodes 32B with a cathode connected to the common wire 110B, and with an anode connected to the plurality of data wires 3.
