PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method capable of achieving high transfer ratio of intermediate images without reducing quality of the intermediate images.SOLUTION: There is provided an inkjet recording method having a process for adding an auxiliary liquid containing a water soluble resin on an intermediate transfer body having a hydrogen-type cation exchange resin layer as an outermost surface layer, a process for adding an ink to the intermediate transfer body by an inkjet recording method to form an intermediate image and a process for transferring the intermediate image to a recording medium in this order. A ratio of acid amount of the hydrogen-type cation exchange resin layer A (mmol/m) and the total amount of acid value of the ink and the auxiliary liquid added to the intermediate transfer body B (mmol/m) is 1≤A/B≤100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
