摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deployment control device for an air bag capable of determining difference of a collision form by separating magnitude of acceleration generated at an initial stage of the collision, and performing suitable deployment control of the air bag. SOLUTION: The deployment control device for the air bag of a vehicle 100 is arranged in a vehicular front part, and has a bumper armature 101 with high stiffness extending in a vehicular width direction. The deployment control device for the air bag comprises an acceleration sensor 2 generating an acceleration signal of the vehicle 100 during the collision, an absolute value calculating circuit 9 calculating an absolute value of difference obtained by comparing the acceleration signal measured after the acceleration signal exceeds a threshold value Th with the threshold value Th or a last measured value, an adding circuit 10 added whenever the absolute value is calculated, and a deployment determining circuit 11 determining whether the deployment of the air bag is permitted or not from a computed result by the adding circuit 10.
