The charger includes a casing with an upper surface area which defines a battery attachment area (4) for placing at least one battery, and several electrode windows (9) and several outlet passages (12), which engage respectively with the electrode windows. The outlet passages are formed in the casing for removing a fluid which enters in the casing through the electrode windows. A printed circuit board (2) is mounted in the casing. Several load contacts (8) project respectively through the electrode windows, whereby each load contact is connected to the printed circuit board. Separating ribs (11) extend from an inner surface of the casing and contact a surface of the printed circuit board (2), whereby fluid which enters in the casing through the electrode windows, is prevented through the separating ribs to expand along the surface of the printed circuit board. |
