摘要

A frame type indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to increase a flow rate of air discharged from between air guides and a turbo fan by applying a pressure, thereby increasing a discharged air amount and reducing noise. A frame type indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a case(10) formed with a suction hole at a front surface and discharge holes at side and bottom surfaces. A turbo fan(30) is mounted in the case for discharging air inhaled from a room via the suction hole to the room via the discharge holes. Air guides(A1,A2) are mounted to inner lower corners of the case for guiding the air blown by the turbo fan toward the discharge holes, wherein the air guides are mounted with a distance(L) from the turbo fan by 3-10% of a diameter of the turbo fan to increase a pressure of the discharged air.
