PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of most efficiently concentrating and recovering a solvent as a value from a diluted aqueous solution containing <5 wt.% of the solvent. SOLUTION: The method of recovering a solvent as a value from a diluted aqueous solution of the solvent comprises concentrating the concentration of the solvent by a membrane filter 2 represented by a nanofilter membrane once up to≥5 wt.%, and thereafter further concentrating the concentrated solution by distillation and recovery apparatus 7 to recover the solvent.
