The invention relates to a construction for supporting and holding railway rail bays, including resilient supporting means and a container, of substantially parallelepipedal configuration and made of a reinforced concrete material, for receiving therein, with a set clearance, a plurality of rail bays. The resilient supporting means of the supporting and holding construction comprise a plurality of stoppers, fixedly coupled to the ground by at least two plugs and a structural adhesive, and a supporting mattress made of elastomeric materials arranged under the rail bay container. The rail bays are resiliently supported at their set positions by injecting a bedding material into the clearance between the bay and container. The invention further relates to a method for making a construction for supporting and holding railway rail bays.
