<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment apparatus which can automatically perform alignment of ink jet heads with high accuracy by a mechanism independent from a coating apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The alignment apparatus has a laser irradiation machine which marks an ink jet head provided at an ink jet head unit with an head alignment mark to be a positioning standard, a camera which measures a position of the head alignment mark marked by the laser irradiator and a position of a nozzle hole of the ink jet head, a relative position measuring mark part for measuring relative positional relation between the laser irradiator and the camera, a control means which acquires a head alignment mark position data based on a measuring state of the camera, a positioning mechanism for positioning the ink jet head based on the head alignment mark position data and a holding means for adjusting height and a position of the ink jet head unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
