<p>PURPOSE:To forestall a battery death at the car side due to particulate trapping treatment as well as to prevent any damage to an external power source and a connection line to be connected to this external power source or the like. CONSTITUTION:In this particulate trap system, once trapping those of particulates being contained in exhaust gases out of an engine 25 in a filter, and processing the particulates through combustion by a heater 15 being driven by an external power source 11, if this external power source 11 is connected to the heater 15 or the like in a state that an ignition switch 19 is turned off as well as in a state that the engine 25 is stopped, it is so designed as to be equipped with a power selector means which selects its connection to an electronic control unit 1 or the like to the external power source 11 from a battery power source 23 for the end.</p> |
