PURPOSE:To provide a multi-layer cosmetic containing sodium pyrrolidonecarboxylate, glycerol, a surfactant and water, forming an emulsion having beautiful appearance by shaking, separating into multiple layers by leaving at rest and having high safety to skin and excellent practical properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective multi-layer cosmetic contains (A) 1.2-21wt% sodium pyrrolidonecarboxylate (40-70% aqueous solution), (B) 7-85% glycerol, (C) 3-85wt% surfactant (nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 8-12) and (D) 1.8-18wt% water. The weight ratio of A:D is 40:60-70:30. The cosmetic forms an emulsion having beautiful appearance by shaking and rapidly separates into multiple layers by leaving at rest. It has high safety to skin and various excellent practical properties such as fitness to skin, spreadability, moistness, free from skin irritation, etc. |
