摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a power take-out efficiency in a motion converting structure of a piston type internal combustion engine in which at least compression ratio is made variable among the compression ratio and displacement. SOLUTION: A first crankshaft 24 can specify the position of a piston 13 at a dead center in association with the piston 13. A variable compression ratio mechanism 30 changes the position of the piston at the dead center to make variable at least the compression ratio among the compression ratio and the displacement. In this structure, the first crankshaft 24 is installed separately from an output shaft 15. A swing link member 18 is swung according to the reciprocating linear motion of the piston 13 and its swing is transmitted to the output shaft 15 through a one-way clutch 17. The one-way clutch 17 arrests the swing of the swing link mechanism 18 transmitted to the output shaft 15 in one direction.
