PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product storing facility in which a fire occurred in products may be quickly extinguished if a fire occurs in products, and which may reduce a burden for filling up operation of fire extinguishing liquid.SOLUTION: After occurrence of a fire in products stored in a storing rack, a transporting device A transports the products from the storing rack to a storage space 23a of a fire extinguishing container 23 via an opening part 23b so that the product sinks in fire extinguishing liquid w. There is provided an evaporation preventing body 27 preventing evaporation of the fire extinguishing liquid w in the fire extinguishing container 23. Before occurrence of a fire in the products stored in the storing rack, the evaporation preventing body 27 is maintained in an evaporation preventing state in which evaporation of the fire extinguishing liquid w in the fire extinguishing container 23 is prevented. After occurrence of a fire in the products stored in the storing rack, the evaporation preventing body 27 is converted from the evaporation prevention state into a fire extinguishing state in which the products are allowed to sink in the fire extinguishing liquid. |
