A management system has a reconciliation engine that reconciles computer network service resource information and stores the information in a database. An editing engine is used to access and search reconciled information in the database based on search criterion. The editing engine creates a portion of a service model of the computer network service using reconciled information obtained through accessing and searching the database. The graphical user interface enables a user to build and modify aspects of the service model. When the service model is created or updated, a publishing engine publishes a portion of the service model to impact managers of the computer network service. Using information obtained through searching, the application creates a portion of a service model of the computer network service. Once created, the application publishes a portion of the service model to impact managers of the computer network service.
