Provided is a storage apparatus for a server comprising: a plurality of server racks including a door with computation equipment in the inside; an open status confirmation unit which confirms open time and closed time of the door; a storage unit which stores a total proper working hour; a control unit which calculates a total working hour through the earliest initial open time among the measured open time and the latest final closed time among the closed time, and confirms whether the total working hour exceeds a predetermined time of the total proper working hour; and a notification unit which gives a warning signal if the total working hour exceeds a predetermined time of the total proper working hour. If the working hour becomes longer abnormally in the operation of maintaining and repairing a server, a manager can confirm the stolen computation equipment or the parts mounted in the inside of the server rack or the irrational replacement thereof. |
