PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image processing device and method which can notify a user of the stop of update of the image display while simplifying the process and the structure.SOLUTION: A vehicle driving support device 1 includes: an image synthesis unit 22 which performs a predetermined image process; frame buffers 24A and 24B which store images processed by the image synthesis unit 22; a display processing unit 26 which reads out the image stored in the frame buffers 24A and 24B and displays the image on a display device; and a specific image writing unit 28 which writes a specific image after the displayed image stored in the frame buffers 24A and 24B is read out by the display processing unit 26 and before the displayed image is stored in the frame buffers 24A and 24B by the image synthesis unit 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
