<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an ultrasonic sensor capable of making the center of an oscillating surface of the ultrasonic sensor and the center of a through-hole substantially coincide with each other under a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: This mounting structure of the ultrasonic sensor is constituted by mounting the ultrasonic sensor to carry out at least one of transmission and receipt of an ultrasonic wave on a wall member of a moving body furnished with the through-hole of an opening shape in correspondence with an outline of the oscillating surface so that the oscillating surface and an outer surface of the wall member come to be flush with each other, a part of a portion except for the oscillating surface on the outer surface of the ultrasonic sensor contracts in diameter toward the outer surface side from the inner surface side of the wall member and is made into a ring taper part to make contact with a through-hole wall surface of the wall member or an inner surface side corner part connected to the through-hole wall surface, a ring portion of the taper part a flat surface made by which is a portion roughly in parallel with the oscillating surface is made into a contact portion with the wall member, and the center of the ring portion is provided so as to roughly coincide with the center of the oscillating surface in a direction roughly vertical with the passing-through direction of the through-hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
