<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of stably locating the burying position and the burying depth of a buried pipe by generating an electromagnetic field having high intensity. SOLUTION: A locating wire 7 is arranged along an insulating feed pipe 21. An induction current generation part 8 is installed in the connecting part of the feed pipe 21 with a conductive feed pipe 22. A core 81 is so displaced as to surround one end of the feed pipe 22. A coil 83 is wound around the core 81. When an alternating current is carried to the feed pipe 22 under the above environment, the core 81 is positioned in the electromagnetic field generated around it, so that the magnetic flux density inside the core 81 is increased. As a result, a large induction current is generated in the coil 83 and flows through the locating wire 7. A detector 6 senses the intensity of the electromagnetic field on the ground and detects the burying positions, and the burying depths of both the feed pipe 21 and the feed pipe 22.</p> |
